Why not just practice throwing left handed in case you break your right arm. Don't see the logic in this if you can't set your feet correctly you probably shouldn't be throwing it?

It;s just clean up on fundamentals.

Some things about that.

1. That is not ALL they worked on. It's just the thing that generates the most conversation. So no they did not work exclusively on throwing from multiple platforms.

2. Working on that could help now and then so why not.

3. BUT it's not a cure-all. Shaky OL play simply does not reduce to whether the qb relies on better mechanics. I would guess that might have a good effect 3 or 4 times a game at most. Problem OLs cause all sorts of issues. For example, nothing a qb who can't run will fix the situation where he does not have time for the play to develop, or the rhythm with the receivers is off because of a play that the OL has thrown out of sync. Among other things. It simply does not all reduce to whether the qb rises about the situation a few times a game.
