Suh-weet!
I'm simply saying that on the issue of Blythe v. Allen I feel much more comfortable going with the judgment of THIS particular set of Rams' decisionmakers than with yours/any-number-of-fans//PFF's/a-veteran-scout's. You could be right! Maybe Allen will be cut and prove himself the much better player at some point, but... I doubt it. I don't have a strong personal feeling either way, but, FWIW, if I had to choose one or the other on the basis of what I've seen I'd also go w/Blythe.
But even this group CAN make mistakes...we will see how it plays out, but my issue is this when people say this something like this " Maybe Allen will be cut and prove himself the much better player at some point,
but... I doubt it." and use the "Rams know what they are doing" as the defense, ask yourself this:
Why is there a problem to begin with? Neither Allen nor Blythe are great---whicgh means there is a problem at center which Rams did not address. So, if they are so smart then why is center an issue? Let's say I am wrong...even the most ardent Blythe backers don't think he's good, just slightl better than Allen, who those same people think suck.
No, I will go with the info of people that have been in business a long time, who made the Timmerman>Wiegert call 20 years ago...best case scenario is Rams have a problem at center and that is no confidence builder in the "current set of decisionmakers" who have us in cap hell, BTW
