he's a smart player, he was a main piece of the O-line when we were supposed to have one of the top lines in 2017/18. Yes he can be moved off spot, but IMO Allen has shown nothing (even as small a window as he had to show) that with his short arms he can hold ground any better. To be honest our interior line has not been the strength even when they were highly regarded in '17/18....IMO.
IMO Austin off the start is our best Center with zero practices under anyone's belt...I'm kinda with Rock in that if he can't kick it up it's Allen who's outside looking in. Allen has the smarts but right now IMO we need as much field knowledge as possible and IMO that points to Austin at Center.
The thing I see is that we do have guys who can be moved around and play reasonably over the course of time.....That allows us to evolve as the season progresses....What IMO you want at a center point is the knowledge of what the D rush is coming from....Blythe handles the blocking assignments well.
