They should have just rode him like they did in 2017-2018 until the wheels fell off....some of us said they should do that during last year and were chastised by some for lacking compassion for the player and his health. The Rams kept trying to sale the narrative that he was healthy, but never played him like he was...the Pittsburgh game was a an example of McVay overthinking it when he All but pulled Gurley the entire 4th qtr after he was having one of his best days.
I think there are multiple factors as to what happened to Gurley last year and I won't be surprised if he looks great in ATL especially if their OL can open some holes.
Sure he's not physically the same back from 2018, but the o-line and the bubble wrap McVay had him in last year did him so favors.
