McVay replacing Fisher equals rise bad knee is the fall.
It is really very simple. He had no chance of success running through 15 250 pound bodies all occupying the same space under the Fisher run it into a brick wall offense. McVay came around and created a very dynamic offense with the opposing defense on their heals and all the space in the world for Gurley to pop through the holes.
Than Gurley's knee started to act up again from the years of abuse under Fisher and when your job is to run the ball into a brick wall. It is kind of important to not have a gimpy knee.
