Jefferson played in the SEC spliting time at Ole Miss with 2019 second rounders DK Metcalf (Seahawks) & AJ Brown (Titans) in 2017.
He transferred to Florida, where in 2018, they ran the ball about 160 more times than they passed and his 35 receptions led the team.
And in 2019, when they became more balanced, his 49 reception was second only to the TE Pitts (54 receptions) as they spread the ball around quite a bit.Third in receptions was the RB Perine with 40 catches.
Kupp played slot WR in a pass happy spread offense vs. lesser competition. If I'm not mistaken, his team's 2nd and/or 3rd leading receptions leaders had better numbers than the reception leaders on Jefferson's SEC teams, for the most part.
