Nice post. That's the key here too. Rams were probably afraid that Cooks would play like he did post-concussion and didn't want to risk that. So they drafted a plus possession receiver who will be a tough draw for CB3s right out the gate.
People are sweating that pick unnecessarily IMO. McVay knows what he's doing with wideouts and this guy is basically uncoverable in man by the DBs who will draw him early on.
