Forgot about Unger. He was legit. I followed Long a bit because his brother was playing for the Rams. As I recall he played for multiple colleges and like Cogs didn't play at U of O for "Long". He was a number 1 pick and was solid till his hip injury.
Even that, though, really shows how think the ducks have been in terms of quality o lineman given their otherwise stellar history.
I am about 4 hours north of Eugene so for us, that is the closest big time college football so their are a ton of ducks fans around here.
I'm about 3 1/2 hrs north of UO. Long only played 1 yr at UO and petitioned for another but was denied. Not a long line of Ducks OL that have played at a high level in the NFL
