Your U of O comment got me thinking in terms of O-lineman. Though I don't follow CFB that closely, I do follow what college teams NFL players played for so - for example, I can tell you former Rams Anthony Newman, Norm Van Brocklin, Latin Dafonso Berry and Chris Miller all played at U of O.
In terms of lineman, despite a ridiculously deep list of alums including the aforementioned Van Brocklin, Dan Fouts, Marcus Mariota, Amhad Rashad, they have been super thin in terms of offensive lineman.
Other than Gary Zimmerman (who fishes with my father in law and weighs about 190 pounds now) and Richie Incognito for about 1/2 a second, this team has had no other notable lineman - seriously.
That is very interesting. I can see why you don't like U of O lineman.
Max Unger was damn good as was Kyle Long but injuries got the best of him. Next yr Peniei Sewell should be a top 5 pick, UO's OL is different now that Mario Cristobal is the head coach.
