Yah I heard that but I have also disagreed because while it has some basic principles it has nuances again IMO that when it fails highlights that it is a more demanding offense o. The QB and with regards to reads, resposibilies and options and progressions. The QBs role has been discussed and the necessity for a QB in the system to take full command has also reflected that this is not a plug an play QB system.
You know me I don't just accept media or even coach speak. They can say and use cliches etc but we know there is more to QBs success than skill and system. I felt that McVay has expanded the offense but minus an OC was not flexible in game or making adjustments that allowed Goff more success. Instead he put Goff in enough tough situations that were high risk scenarios that did not accentuate his strengths.
This offense hides its complexity on the surface.
Goff had a lot of success despite the pressures placed on him.I am excited to see 2020. I expect more learning and better to come.
