they both are largely dismissed by media and fans as being overrated and overpaid. Goff even more so than J Go but nonetheless
[
t.co] This is what the typical fan thinks of Goff laughing that he is mentioned with the other QBs mentioned by in this video. None of the other QBs mention get ridiculed like Goff does by those respondents.
each of them runs an offense predicated on the run and passing game dependent on play action as a result
they are each coached by young offensive master minds that coached in Washington together under Mike Shanahan and Gruden
in back to back years each has lead a team to the SB and disappointed in their performance and are getting the lions share of the blame for that loss
they run offenses that are basically sister systems McVays more of a finesse and motion based offense and the 49ers who incorporate more power blocking elements and are for more dynamic in not only the number or runs but variation or type of run plays
personally I don’t know how anyone can watch the 49ers, Rams, or Packers offenses and not see the obvious similarities. The Rams by the end of this year we’re running far more 12 personnel and less 3 WRs
they are the QBs of SF and LA
they both lead their teams to the SB in their third year with their franchises
of course they are going to be compared. none of those thing apply to either Kyler Murray or Russell Wilson in their division
my question to you is why you need it spelled out?
