You say everyone's comparing Garrappalo to Goff and that's a fact. You're the only person I've seen comping the 2 recently. Who else compares them on a regular basis?
You say McVay's system is simple and that's a fact. Where did you read that? I've never seen it described as a simple offense. Is San Francisco's offense 'simple'? What about Seattle?
You say the league caught up to McVay and that's a fact. That sounds like an opinion to me. DC's do what they always do and try and take away what a team does well. And that happened with some of the better defensive teams at the end of 2018. Then offenses adjust and come back with some new wrinkles. Happens to all offensive systems and coaches. I'm not sure you can lay 2019's issues on people catching up when a lot of what happened was very poor offensive line play. Also you have to keep in mind that we had an all-pro running back who became a shell of himself late in 2018 and into 2019. Think that may have made it seem like DC's 'caught up' to McVay
