stats are the barometer of needed abilities. IMO Brockers was a grunt type guy who did what was asked of him. I still remember the falcons playoff game, when he went out the run D totally fell apart. Sacks don't win games as much as some think they do. Just because AD is taking on 2 or 3 blockers doesn't mean that a guy like Brockers should be getting them IMO... he may still have to keep his gap to stop the run game in his designated place. IMO if AD is taking up 2 or 3 blockers maybe it's the LB group who should be making that sack?
Matters not now, he's off to another team, hope it's not inside the division.....IMO he's still a tough nut who can definitely help a team and yes a D-Line guy can help a team a lot even without sacks....
