He's paid to play, and paid a lot of money at that, so he should be on the field far more. Personally I think this whole issue has far more to do with McVay than TG, I get these odd Martzian play-calling and game management vibes with McVay every now and then.

That said;

• If he can't play any longer he shouldn't be a Ram.
• If he can play but requires a greatly lowered snap count his contract should be re-worked to account for that fact.

I think he was well on his way to one of his better games in some time last week and McVay completely screwed it up.

There's a big reason kickers are paid what they are, it's because they're barely on the field. I'm typically the last guy to concern myself with salaries and the cap but you can't pay this kind of coin for a guy standing on the sideline.

I'm a huge TG fan but if he's hurt and risking serious long term issues (who in the NFL isn't) then he should wrap it up and move on in life.
