RAMSINCE ARNETT
We are now in the running back protection program
Unfortunately it would seem so.....we're supposed to protect Gurley and his longevity at all cost, even if it means losing must win games....god forbid he runs the ball more than 12 times, his knee might fall off. He is a running back, not a porcelain doll.
I was all for using him as little as possible in the first few weeks as long as we were winning and saving him for the second half of the season for the stretch run, but were not winning and we are in the stretch run and he gets 12 f'n carries in a dog fight where he is having a great day?!!!
McVay is doing this team no favors with this nonsense committee type run game that does not allow any of our running backs to into any sort of rhythm. Just blows my mind that he pulled Gurley in he third quarter after he was having his best day in a year at 6 yards a carry, because it was "part of the rotation" WTF?!!!
At this point I don't care who the RB is, just let him get 20 carries and get some sort of feel for the game....we are one of the worst rushing teams in the NFL right now so it's pretty obvious the "rotation" isn't working.
So frustrating
