As some here have pointed out I recall that Wentz was considered more pro ready as he was in a pro style offense and was older and more physically mature. And he looked more ready as he had an outstanding rookie year. At that time I had my fingers crossed that we would draft Goff as I saw a lot of his games and he kept improving week to week throughout his college career. The same can be said about his pro career. He started out not good and has improved to the point where he is a franchise super bowl QB. Bottom line he is good enough to win it all and he's much younger and healthier than Wentz so we made the right choice. That takes nothing away from Wentz who can be a super star if he stays on the field. I actually believe that Goff will be much better this year as he'll know the system better, have a healthy Kupp along with Everett, Malcolm Brown and Hendu. Add these guys to TG30 and our other two 1k yard WRs and I don't know how you cover them all. We should average about 40 points a game. With our offense generating and building leads we should get lots of sacks and interceptions from our D. Plus, the funny thing is our ST's are probably our best unit with the best punter, LS and PK in the NFL. We will be very very hard to beat.
