It’s possible that MJD, who is a lot closer to what’s going on in the Rams locker room than any of us are, knows more than we do about Gurley.
It’s possible that MJD has spoken with Gurley and knows more than he’s telling us. It’s possible that he is only telling us stuff that can be linked to what Gurley said publicly, but MJD knows that Gurley was injured in Oakland and won’t give out more details.
When one guy is holding a poker hand he’s in a much better position to decide if he wants to bet someone else that he has 4 aces.
No none of that is possible unless you are saying the Rams lied then and since about a player injury. (Plus started a player with a knee injury on top of not following the rules and reporting it.) (Those 2 things combined btw would make this the single most negiligent and unethical Rams management group that we have known.)
And besides, what kind of injury would it be, that its effects went away for several weeks before coming back and then going away again? Oh and on top of it they lie about an injury all season, then TG basically says as much to an ex-player media guy (so much for lies and secrets) who then divulges the deception.
When one guy is holding monopoly money instead of playing cards it's not a poker hand. And again btw MJD never says Gurley told him he was actually injured. MJD just misunderstands a story about the knee issue in game 1 that was in the press.
This is the problem with stories like this. MJD basically misunderstands what happened in game 1 and says some stuff that does not add up, but then some people give it credence, which just makes things murkier.
Another and better explanation is that TG has some kind of underlying condition (such as an arthritic knee) that flares up but can settle back down.
