There is the medical definition
The NFL likely has its own definition
The layman's definition-could be anything-likely what MJD is using
The legal definition (i,e, he "injured" my reputation)
My bet is he has had repeated blows to the same knee he had major ACL surgery on and that has caused his knee to be damaged to the extent it flares up (arthritic knee) -sometimes seriously enough to prevent playing and sometimes not enough for him to not play. Call it what you want-doesn't matter. What matters is how they best handle a great player who is vulnerable to this.
What is meant by "injury" here is a physical trauma, like a rip, tear, pull, break, or deep bruise.
That is what the Rams meant when they said there was no structural damage and therefore nothing to repair with surgery.
We can play semantics with this on the board. They can't. If they fail to report a rip, tear, pull, break, deep bruise, or other physical trauma, they are violating league rules and being both schmucks and idiots on top of it.
Meanwhile. Yes. MJD is wrong. He got the same data we did, and misinterpreted it.
That's not an opinion by me, it's a fact claim I can and will back up.
