that's actually how i've been going about it but i underestimated the havenstein and gurley contracts. i was also coming up a 2 or 3m short on goff. was starting to think the method was off.
guess i can attribute my shortfall on gurley to that best of bred (mack, miller, donald) factor. don't think that explains havenstein though. the 2nd contract thing explains goff for me.
all in all, not bothered a bit by what goff will need to be paid. still think peters and fowler or equivalents are affordable on top of extending littleton, zuerlein and brockers or an equivalent. have to cover the lt with someone on the roster or a 2020 draft pick to do that though.
