Is that he's in a rare situation that most QBs don't get to experience. He has a top-notch gameplanner. A strong and supportive offensive staff that has become a pipeline for the NFL due to McVay. We just attracted a vet QB for $1M for a single season just to learn from him. It's kinda nuts tbh and the type of situation that might affect the bottom line.
He even has a star studded defense to keep the points down (which IMO is a QB's true best friend). And a Hall of Fame DC running the show.
I don't think the Rams are going to lowball him and they shouldn't. But it wouldn't surprise me if his contract were to be done in such a way that it goes a bit longer with a bit of a cap relief in the annual hit. But then again as I observed maybe I'm crazy.
