Thats a big part of the equation- what the Rams feel comfortable doing with Noteboom. Only they know, based on preseason, practices, the meeting room, etc.

If they feel good about Noteboom at LG and also see that as a good stepping stone to him replacing Whitworth at LT, then yeah they may make minimal effort to keep Saffold and take the 3rd round comp pick to boot.

Blythe knows the line calls which is an important thing for them. He was primarily a center until Brown got suspended.
