But they actually could do precisely that: meaning, promote back ups who rarely played to starters.

They did this year with Blythe and Littleton.

I agree with zn, here.

Rams have a history of starting former backups and rookies.

In addition to the mentioned Blythe and Littleton examples, JJ quickly started. Kupp and Ebu, too.

TBH, I suspect that we will definitely see Boom start at LOT if Whit retires. And we may well see him as a starter even if Whit doesn’t retire. Might be at LG if Saffold walks. Or RG if Blythe moves to C. Heck, maybe if Blythe doesn’t move to C. Lol.

I believe that these coaches like some of their depth players and will not be reluctant to use them. Especially Kromer.
