Thanks as always. I think you are right that unless a consensus Top 20-25 player is there at 31 that they will likely trade out. Maybe 5-12 spots.
The 3rd round could be a good spot to get a safety. I would definitely use a 3rd in an OL. Edge will ideally be their first selection whether it is at 31 or in the 2nd round.
Agree that they really need Saffold back to help ease the future transition of the OL and maintain continuity. I also believe the Rams will continue to play the compensatory picks game and let Suh and maybe Fowler walk. My OLB target right now in FA is Shaq Barrett. They are going to focus mostly on veterans that are released vs UFA because of the comp picks formula.
At RB I would love CJ back but not at $3M. I would rather give Brown a two year deal averaging $1.5-2M and let CJ go and get a 7th round comp for him.
TE is the only position on offense that I could see the Rams going at 31. I dont think theyre looking for one necessarily but if one of the top 2-3 is there it will be tempting.
