On Kiser it is difficult to know were the Rams thinking and evaluation is on Kiser. He played well on ST but they seem him in practice everyday and have a good idea if he is ready or not. I do think if they think he is ready that it makes cutting Barron easier knowing they have his replacement already on the roster. I think if Barron is cut that signals they think Kiser is ready for full time duty MLB.
I agree there is a high probability of trading down and adding another 3. It seems like there will be multiple good prospects at the edge or DT sliding into the upper half of round 2 that fits the Rams needs. I think free agency may impact where we go with this pick but one of the edge guys or a DT would seem to be the logical choice.
I think you can probably get Rypien in round 4 or even 5 but I do agree that we need a new backup QB. Not sure the draft is the best place to go. I like the kid from NC State Finley who may not have Rypien's arm but may is very accurate and may be a bit more pro ready.
I hate to say it be I think your worries over Safford are well founded and I think he a goner. While I think Noteboom takes over for him I do see drafting a OL prospect in round 3 highly likely. I would also look at the tackle prospects that may be able to play guard but agree this is probably going to be a place to spend draft capital.
