That was actually the problem. They ran and got in bad down and distance.
In that superbowl, when the Rams gave up on the run in the 4th quarter, is when they scored 14 points. They started going to Hakim and Proehl more versus main options.
Had the Rams gave up on the run earlier in the game, they may have put up 56 points in that superbowl. 14*4=56.
I think Faulk only had 2 of his 17 carries in the 4th quarter when they started moving the ball up and down the field.
