Part of why the Patriots blitz is they need to- their core DL apart from Flowers (a very good DE) has not produced much pressure all year. They got to Rivers a lot in the divisional round but the Chargers' OL is not close to the Rams in pass protection.
So yes, the Rams will have to deal with blitzes and stunts. But they also had to do so vs. New Orleans who I felt blitzed a lot and they did very well. A key will be Gurley and Higbee as they at times will have to chip, stay in, etc. Gurley as an outlet receiver or on screens could be big in this game.
Last, they mention Martz and his unwillingness to adjust and take the run when it presented itself. These Rams are very, very willing to change calls at the LOS from pass to run and vice versa. They lost SB36 in large part due to their head coach's stubbornness. If they lose this game it won't be because of that.
