definitely agree that you test the waters early in the game, because if you're able to pound the rock successfully, you should keep doing it. just be careful because running the ball on first and second down eads to a lot of 3rd downs and possible punts.
also.. answering my question about Goff, I think I have to agree with him being injured, ribs (or something to that effect) because there is a noticeable difference and you don't just "lose your mojo".
True or not, I'm sticking with that theory cuz it helps me sleep at night. also, supporting this theory is that a broken rib Goff is better than Sean Mannion.
P.S. who here votes for securing a veteran backup QB immediately upon the end of the season???
