Goff took some very hard shots in that KC game, one where about 3 Chiefs arrived at the same time from different angles and just crunched him.
A lot of talk at the time that there should have been roughing the passer but Goff gets no respect from the officials.
His next game in Detroit, he didn't look right at all. Not just on the field, he looked pale and circles under his eyes on the bench.
He did some of those 1000 yard stares where you can tell the person is focused on something internal.
This is pure speculation. I know nothing. But it wouldn't shock me if the Rams tell us after the season that Goff has been dealing with X, whatever it is, since after the KC game.
It might explain some of the strange misses and throws, as well as lack of downfield shots.
I don't think so... I think teams are just playing us differently and the Rams have adjusted. Teams seem to be trying to take away the big plays, so the the Rams will just take what they give us. I won't be surprised if we see a few deep shots this week if the Saints want to try and load the box to try and take away our new found dominant running attack.
