The Rams have made big splash plays all year. You have to if you're going to score as many points as they do.
In the playoffs, you want to reduce a team down to having to drive the field on every possession. The problem is this: at least against the Cowboys, because of the 2 headed monster of Gurley and Anderson, and a highly motivated Oline, they could. And when then happens you get tremendous clock advantage, and when that happens you usually win.
Sprinkle in some passes to some really good, fast WRs who run precise routes, and you have a winning formula.
Here's the thing though: the Saints also have a 2 headed monster at RB, a HOF QB playing some of his best ball ever, a future HOFer in WR Thomas, and a crowd that makes hearing audibles and snap counts really difficult.
This could be a heck of the game that comes down to the last possession.
Or, as often happens, one team has everything go right, and the other has everything go wrong......unpredictably which is which we won't know until well into the game.
A must see, for sure.
