Meaningless in regards to the article? Yeah, especially with how it turned out. I suppose that they just wanted to get Mike Martz thoughts on the new hire considering his connection to the organization. He could have been more selective in choosing his words to express his concerns with the Rams hiring McVay and not come off looking like such a @#$%&. For the record, I had no expectations of any particular win totals for the Rams these past couple of years. I really didn't know much about McVay when they hired him and wasn't exactly excited about the announcement. My hopes were that the new coach would turn the team around and make steady improvement in regards to the win totals over the previous several years. McVay has exceeded what I considered realistic expectations of improvement year by year by a long-shot! I am so thankful that he is the coach of our team.
