Frankly, I see a lot more Tom Brady in Goff than Joe Montana. Goff has that same kind of posture in the pocket that makes him always ready to throw the ball as he stands tall, calmly seeing the field instead of the oncoming pass rushers.
I think the comparison is usually about demeanor. Brady has a temper... sometimes a really bad one. Goff doesn't lose his cool the way Brady does sometimes.
