The point that Steven A. makes about how damning Jared Goff's performance was under him compared to his near "elite" status now means that Fisher will never get an HC job again. I would add, no HC job (or any job for that matter) at the NFL level, but perhaps at the college level (although I pity the foolish team that would hire him).
Fisher is the LOSINGEST HC in the history of the NFL. But the Goff debacle seals the deal. Fisher is to offense what Round Up is to anything green that grows.
I think comparing one QB to another is fine to a point. But Goff is Goff; he has his own attributes. Frankly, I see a lot more Tom Brady in Goff than Joe Montana. Goff has that same kind of posture in the pocket that makes him always ready to throw the ball as he stands tall, calmly seeing the field instead of the oncoming pass rushers.
And no, I am not saying that Goff is Brady. Brady is probably the best QB in the history of the NFL.
