Its one thing for the arm to be moving forward and have the ball knocked out from the force of the tackle. I think its another thing to have the ball swatted out of the QB's hand... but according to the rule, since the pass starts when the Qb starts to bring his arm forward, I guess this is considered a "tipped" pass since the ball was actually punched out of his hand.
Once his arm starts to move forward I think that ends it. If Ebukam had been able to grab the ball from the QB's hand, as his arm was moving forward, I am guessing that would be an interception.
