I posted this to explain the drop in safety salaries. Of course the Rams just tagged outrage safety, likely overoaying him $2.5-3.0 million.

If QBs are going to get three times the % increase relative to the salary cap increase, something has got to give!

The numbers of course jump on the second contract...but it's that third that is blowing things up!

Donald is going on his second contract. The % increase is going to be way out of whack. And unlike Joyner, Donald is that much better than ANY defensive player in the NFL.
