Is $21 Mil a "low offer" to AD? I don't think so and from what I have read including the poll not many others do either. To keep repeating it is a low offer is just silly. Could it be higher...sure. Should it be higher...maybe but it is NOT low. The majority here (and elsewhere) don't think it's low either. Trying to force that opinion on others is NOT working.
Here is an interesting post from aeneas1 on another board showing $21 mil is a fair offer...
"here's a look at a few big deals from the past few years... looking at watt (first column), the highest paid guy at watt's position averaged $16.0/yr the season prior to watt's deal - watt got $16.7/yr or 4.4% more.
the highest paid qb last season averaged $27.0/yr, cousins got $28.0/yr (+3.7% more) while ryan got $30.0 (+11.1% more)... cox's big deal was actually less per year than the highest paid guy at hs position the previous year, suh, but 6.8% higher than second highest paid guy.
if donald took $21.0/yr it would be 9.9% more than the highest paid guy at his position last year - $23.0/yr would put him at 20.4% more, close to the jump suh saw with the massive contract he signed with miami (19.5%), which the fins had to restructure the very next year... $25.0/yr would put donald at a whopping 30.9% more."
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
