Sure doesn't look like an instant starter. Then again, what are the odds of getting an instant LOT starter in the 3rd round? The good news is that the Rams know that and didn't bring him in to be an instant starter.
Looks to me as though the Rams are figuring a full year of development behind Whit and Havenstein, maybe more, a lot of time in the weight room, and bunches of technique coaching.
Size, athleticism, smarts, durability and lots and lots of college starts are the attraction.
So, we'll see.
