He sure isn't a guy you can jump up and down about and expect to make an impact early in the season.
However from all the reports that I have read he has all the tools needed to become a starting caliber tackle and maybe even a starting left tackle in the NFL.
He has the size, athleticism, feet and technique, though inconsistent and even has started 40 games.
So he needs to get stronger and become more consistent with is technique which are things that the coaching staff can help him with.
Getting a tackle for the future was a big need and we now have one who might actually be a LT.
The coaching staff really likes him and thinks they can develop him.
I am not excited but I am hopeful that we added a future asset to the team.
I suspected that we would be drafting a backup regardless of position and that's what happened.
