1. He is threatening to hold out if not given a contract and the Giants haven't been able to agree on terms with him which is why they're dangling him. If the Giants keep him and he holds out, it's a bad situation for them.
2. The recent BS he pulled on video will further erode the Giants' bargaining power.
3. Any team trading for him will need to at least agree in principle with his representation on a contract, which will eliminate a lot of teams that don't have that type of cap space.
