Also, what is interesting is that some, maybe not you, are just buying what they read in the media, hook, line and sinker. Like Suh is as good now as he was as his peak, it's scary that the media is not showing the possible downside of a Suh signing, not just for Rams but Titans and others.
All I can tell you is I've communicated with two of the top NFL scouts that teams pay for...and not a meager $75K like PFF, but many multiples of that. And they don't see a 3-4 fit for Suh. They have no dog in fight, don't care one way or the other. They also rate Suh higher than I do as a 4-3 tackle, not notwithstanding that, people here cannot even entertain an opposing view, that just because Rams improved last year means all the moves they make or are considering now are perfect and cannot even be questioned.
With this Suh thing, some are just marching in lockstep. Wade is great, Wade knows what he's doing, and anyone who question's Wade is a heretic of Rams orthodoxy.
It's lame. Wade's forte is coverages anyway, not fronts. And there are smart NFL people who think Suh is not a fit. But they, too, must be heretics.
But, by all means, read the company line, sing from the Snead, McVay, Phillips hymnal...and get into knockdown dragouts with anyone who dare question the company line. All without the aid of watching the film to get their own ideas.
