I am repeating what multiple sources SAY happened. And it really is multiple sources, across time, all independently pointing to the same things.
There's a huge difference.
If you don't know that info then yeah you are speculating. And there's a ton of such info.
What was different about last year is that the same GM used the same process that had been in place for a while to determine what the coaches needed to fit their systems.
That does not mean coaches did the personnel work and the GM just sat around playing solitaire. Far from it.
The coaches THEMSELVES have spoken--several times, in fact many many times--about how that process works and about how they rely heavily on the GM.
Not one single source, either on the Rams or from reporters who got an inside look, validates your account of things. No one says it was like that. Meanwhile what I am saying is based entirely on what the sources DO say.
