Any commodity is worth whatever price someone will pay for it. If another team values SW st 15 million per year then they'll offer him that. Surely our Rams have offered whatever they think is a fair price and hope he accepts it. Probably he will get a higher offer in the open market. It's not more complicated than that. Comparing his stats don't really factor into it at all. For those who argue he was only a #4 Target last season with us. True. For those who say he can be more valuable as a number one target. Also true. For those who say he has had injury problems. True. For those who argue that he was healthy last season. True. But his actual value is what he can get paid. I like him and hope he stays.
