Personally - I don't like giving away a talent like Watkins after sending the Bills and corner and a 2nd
I don't like that one bit
But if they don't love him and think losing Joyner will hurt more than losing Watkins - Well then a case (a valid one) certainly can be made for taking that position
I just want my cake and eat it too.... they can keep both players
Anyhow we have a little less than a week to find out.... but if Watkins is gone a couple of things could happen
1) They will fill his position with a FA acquisition
2) They believe the TEs will mature and adjust in the offense accordingly
3) They believe Reynolds can pick up the slack
McVay knows a lot more than I do. If he really wants Sammy he will let that be known.
