The reason I asked this question in the first place, was of the Joe Flacco contract. Once the Ravens rewarded him with that contract that was over a hundred million dollars, and I am not looking at the numbers I am looking at the percentage of salary cap rewarded to one guy, they have never sniffed the Super Bowl again. After the Ravens won, the next year it was a fire sale. The Flacco contact started the huge QB contracts and that was the kiss of death. As much as I hate to use them as a model New England refuses to pay one player that type of money, I know Brady gives them a discount but if he did not Grapallo would have been leading the Pats.
I love AD, and want him to stay a Ram for life, but at what cost? Lastly, if we over pay AD like we did TA we are dead in the water.
