But the gap between 2 and 3 and the starters? Nope not buying that.
The Rams are healthier than any other playoff team. The good fortune with the lack of injuries on the oline for example is just rare
The Rams might not win the SB but it wont be because of their lack of depth
Rather they won’t win because they lack enough experience. Young QB, young head coach, young team period and on the road in Minnesota
If they can get past Minnesota.... look out

This year's team is good enough to win the Superbowl. If they limit turnovers, they can beat any team....anywhere. But it's fair to say there is still too big a gap between the starting roster vs the 2nd/3rd stringers. This is where teams like the Steelers, Patriots, and a few others still have an advantage over the Rams. They have the luxury of plugging in a few players here and there and not seeing as much of a drop. The Rams don't have that luxury, which is probably why McVay decided to rest so many starters.
What McVay and Snead did with this team in one year was incredible. It would be way too much to expect that they would build the depth in one year. With many of the holes now plugged with the starting roster, the Rams staff can now focus on the depth. I would expect a much more solid roster top to bottom by this time next year.
