Goff has facilitated McVays offense tremendously. I'm not ready to crown him the next Brady, but he really has played great in his 2nd year. His numbers indicate he's a 1st tier QB, but I would rank him in the 2nd. I think the playoffs and next year will really tell if he's a legit championship caliber QB. He's benefited from a much improved OL, Gurley's resurgence and many wide open receivers. He has made many great passes, but he's thrown his share of awry passes and potential INT's that were dropped. Three things I really like about Goff though is he's calm under pressure, he's tough and he doesn't make many mistakes.
After his terrible rookie season, Goff has done a complete 180. I believe the search for a true franchise QB is finally over.
I think he's already championship caliber, because he's already a good qb who facilitates an overall good team. Like Eli and Flacco in their superbowl years. So IMO he's already that.
Is he an elite qb? I agree, it's too soon to say on that one way or another.
