You’re certainly entitled to your opinion, Suh-weet.
But remember, 81 said that the Rams wouldn’t have won the game but for Tavon. That’s classic hyperbole, man.
Let me ask you a question, and please try your best to be objective in this hypothetical scenario where Tavon couldn’t play in the Cowboy game.
Given the following:
McVay’s creative skills
Goff’s emergence as a QB
Gurley’s dominance on the ground and as a pass receiver
Kupp
Watkins
Woods
Higbee
Everett
Our newfound dominant OL (yes, dominant)
Second half D adjustments
Cooper’s kick return
Brockers’ outstanding play
AD’s outstanding play
The Reynolds block
And on and on and on
Are you of the opinion that the Rams couldn’t or wouldn’t have beaten the Cowboys without Tavon on the field? That none of the above could or would have picked up the slack?
I am of the opinion that somehow the Rams would have found a way. Too many talented, motivated, confident, and well coached players on this team now.
If you feel differently, that’s fine. We can agree to disagree.
