Here's what I
don't hear anyone saying:
"TA is totally worth his salary." Nobody is saying that.
"TA should be kept long term even though we have lots of other weapons now." Nope, don't hear anybody saying that.
43 is shadow boxing. There is no poster who thinks TA is "All That" for this Rams offense.
But just in regard to the decoy thing and using Tavon.
1. I can only go by what my eyes tell me, guys. Defenses fear him getting loose around the end.
They just do. You can see it in video and stills. It's been detailed in posts. And it does open up other things. DC's are telling us with what they do that they're concerned about Austin when he's in there. Too bad some of our own fans don't have at least that much respect for it. And if there were a bunch of 5th rounders out there that could do the same thing, everybody would be doing it. They aren't.
2. Whatever we think of Fisher's offensive judgement, I think the world of McVay's. If he wants to keep using TA
for now, then it must be because he sees a value to it. I trust him to get that right. He doesn't have an axe that can't seem to get enough grinding.
