They just set this up during the last CBA right? Okay now if the players want it changed they will have to bargain for it.

This setup was what the players wanted because the rookies were for the most part getting overpaid since most first rounders

don't play up to their contract , especially the QBs.(Chances are it was all the QB busts that the vets were upset about since they

were the players not getting more money so teams could pay the top rookies. Not sure the players are going to vote for them to go

back to getting massive contracts since the majority of players aren't rookies. Maybe they will vote for the opt out clause which would

help rookie contracts to be reworked if it warrants it. Think the NFL is in a work stoppage after this CBA expires.
