All I know for sure is it is way too early to know how good Goff will be at his peak.
Troy Aikman and Eli Manning made very little progress developing early in their careers. Their teams stuck with them through some rough years and never looked back after that.
I know it has little to do with Goff, but it's an example of how patients can be rewarding if you don't give up on a player too soon.
Goff is now in good hands with three coaches (including Mcvay) that have proven track record of developing young QBs.
It could take this year and next year to really determine what we have with Goff.
It's too early to throw your chips all in on Goff or not. There are those that would be tempted too, and that's how the house always makes more money than they pay out.
