The Rams need a PR guy who can deal with these LA media types. A smooth guy who is a good spokesman for the team.
By remaining silent they let guys like him say anything they want and it undermines the players and organization.
The general attitude toward Goff in the media in LA is negative and basically its follow the leader. I just listened to Alden Gonzalez on the toxic morning show on ESPN LA. Alden was the most honest in saying he DOESN'T KNOW. He didn't make comments like Goff doesn't pass the eye test because unlike Ireland Alden isn't a blowhard know it all.
This notion that Goff has to look like Joe Namath in his prime in Camp practices is just bleep. I've seen many of the Rams camp practices. Enough of them to know that he's making good passes. Sean Mannion has done nothing to standout in camp and Orlovsky has done nothing to standout in camp. To take the starting job from Goff these guys do have to wow us and they have not.
We need to see Goff in games and we need to give him this season at least. Jeff Fisher and his offensive staff were INCOMPETENT when it came to offense and we all know that. Plus Goff had no weapons and now he does. We shall see.
